Sept. 10th 2011 at 118 Paisley St. Guelph
Art Yard Sale is a public event organized by Monika Hauck during which she, and a number of other local artists interface with the public and have an opportunity sell their work. This event allows local artists to interact with people at the event and explain their work, their practice and answer any questions. It is an event that has great potential for the future as a artistic, musical, and social event in which the community can come together to support local artists and learn about what's happening in the local art scene.
The Art Yard Sale aims to give exposure to local artists in a way that is accessible to the community by taking place in various locations in Guelph. There is also a rotational schedule of artists involved so that each individual event features a wide range of media and artistic approaches.
